Camas na Gall

A small bay which represents the eastern extremity of the Ardgour peninsula, Camusnagaul is located at the junction of Loch Eil and Loch Linnhe. A small settlement of the same name lies on the bay, while a passenger ferry crosses the loch from Fort William, a mile (1.4 km) to the southeast. A military training launch (ML 133) blew up here in 1943, and its remains can still be seen on the beach.
