Round Loch
(Pitlyal, Round Loch of Lundie)

A small loch within the Sidlaw Hills of SW Angus, Round Loch (also known as Pitlyal) is located at Thriepley, a half-mile (1 km) southeast of Long Loch and 1¼ miles (2 km) north northeast of Lundie. The loch is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), known as the Round Loch of Lundie, surrounded by rich fen and alder communities.
