Stromay


(Stromaigh)

One of the larger of a group of small uninhabited islands off the northeast coast of the island of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Stromay (Gael: Stromaigh) forms the western boundary of Loch Aulasary, 4 miles (6 km) north of Lochmaddy. The island rises to 16m (52 feet) above sea level.
