Sgor an Lochain Uaine

(Angel's Peak)

A summit of the S Grampian Mountains, Sgor an Lochain Uaine, sometimes referred to as Angel's Peak, rises to 1258m (4127 feet) northwest of Cairn Toul in Aberdeenshire. It qualifies as a Munro. The ridge running from Lochan Uaine to this peak is one of the few aretes in the Cairngorms, with deep corries to the north. Sgor an Lochain Uaine derives its name from the Gaelic for "peak of the little green loch".
