A reservoir of Mid Argyll and Bute, Loch Glashan was created in 1961 and lies 3¾ miles (6 km) northeast of Lochgilphead. It drains into Loch Gair, an opening in Loch Fyne. Loch Glashan is known for its fishing and is surrounded by the Kilmichael Forest, which provides walks and mountain-bike trails.
