Asgog Loch

A small loch in the SW of the Cowal peninsula of Argyll & Bute, Asgog Loch is situated a quarter-mile (0.5 km) west of Millhouse and 1½ miles (2 km) east northeast of Portavadie. It is known for excellent pike, perch and roach fishing. Asgog Castle is a ruined 15th C. tower house which lies on its western shore.
