Sunset over the White Loch

A loch in the far W of Dumfries and Galloway, the White Loch (also known as the Loch of Inch) lies 2 miles (3 km) east of Stranraer. It is separated from the Black Loch to the north by a narrow spit of land on which stand Lochinch Castle and the remains of Castle Kennedy. Inch Crindil is a small wooded island lying towards its western shore.
