Martnaham LochA loch lying across the border between East and South Ayrshire Council Areas, Martnaham Loch is located 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Ayr. The remains of a castle lie on an islet within the loch. The loch is noted for its bird-life and its western section is designated as an SSSI.
