Carn Etchachan

One of the Cairngorm Mountains on the border between Aberdeenshire and Moray, Carn Etchachan is an outlying top of Ben Macdui which reaches 1120m (3674 feet) in height 10½ miles (17 km) northwest of Braemar. Its southeastern slopes descend steeply into Corrie Etchachan and Loch Etchachan, while climbing crags in the north overlook Loch Avon.
