Carn EtchachanOne of the Cairngorm Mountains on the border between Aberdeenshire and Moray, Carn Etchachan is an outlying top of Ben Macdui which reaches 1120m (3674 feet) in height 10½ miles (17 km) northwest of Braemar. Its southeastern slopes descend steeply into Corrie Etchachan and Loch Etchachan, while climbing crags in the north overlook Loch Avon.
