Loch Eilde Mor

A loch of the Lochaber district of SW Highland Council Area, Loch Eilde Mor is located 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Kinlochleven. The loch was dammed during the First World War to provide an extension of the Kinlochleven Hydro-Electric Scheme. The loch receives water from the smaller Loch Eilde Beag, which lies a quarter-mile (0.4 km) to the northeast.
