One of a group of modest summits in W Angus which lies to the northeast of the Loch of Lintrathen, Brankam Hill rises to 313m (1026 feet) a half-mile (0.8 km) south southeast of Strone Hill and 1¼ miles (2 km) northeast of Bridgend of Lintrathen.
