Beinn an t-Sithein
(Beinn an t-Sėthein)

Beinn an t-Sithein is a peak with a steep craggy northern face which falls into Lochan Shira in Argyll and Bute. This mountain rises to 694m (2276 feet) 1½ miles (2.5 km) west northwest of Beinn Bhuidhe. Lies at the centre of the Glen Shira Hydro Electric Scheme, which includes Lochan Shira and Lochan Sron Mor as reservoirs, together with intakes on various streams on its southern flank, a small dam to capture the waters of Allt an t-Sidhein and underground aqueducts.
