Carn DeargA mountain of the Monadhliath range, Carn Dearg rises to a height of 945m (3100 feet) to the west of Newtonmore in the Badenoch and Strathspey district of Highland Council Area. A buttress below the summit has a sheer drop of 100m (328 feet).
