A long, narrow and deep loch in W Sutherland, Loch More is located 2 miles (3 km) south of Loch Stack and 6 miles (10 km) southeast of Laxford Bridge. The Reay Forest extends to the northwest. The loch gave its name to the Royal Navy frigate HMS Loch More launched by the Caledon Shipyard in Dundee in 1944.
