Auldshiels Hill

One of several lesser summits which surround Arkleton Hill to the east of Ewesdale in E Dumfries and Galloway, Auldshiels Hill rises to 369m (1200 feet), a half-mile (1 km) east of Bittlestone Height and a similar distance northeast of Hog Fell. A finger of plantation forest extends over its eastern slopes.
