A remote hill in the W of Dumfries and Galloway, Cairnscarrow rises to 229m (751 feet) 2½ miles (4 km) west of New Luce and 3¾ miles (6 km) north northeast of Castle Kennedy. The summit is marked by a triangulation pillar and a chambered cairn known as the Auld Wife's Grave is located close to this.
