Cairntosh Hill

A modest hill on the edge of the Glengap Forest in the Stewartry, Dumfries & Galloway, Cairntosh Hill rises to 329m (1079 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) south southeast of Loch Whinyeon and 2¼ miles (3.5 km) northeast of Gatehouse of Fleet. Lying at the centre of a ridge between Peat Hill and Fuffock Hill, this hill has a complex rocky summit which includes a cairn.
