Cairn Hill

A steep summit in the far W of Dumfries and Galloway, Cairn Hill rises to 199m (652 feet) to the east of Loch Ryan behind Lochryan House and Cairnryan. It takes its name from the ancient cairn at the summit, which is also marked by a triangulation pillar. There are several other drumlins known as Cairn Hill hereabouts.
