A modest summit in S Dumfries and Galloway, Doon Hill rises to 174m (570 feet) quarter-mile (0.5 km) southeast of Barcloy and 3¾ miles (6 km) east of Kirkcudbright. Loch Moss lies to the east, while Fellcroft Loch is situated ¾ mile (1.2 km) to the east southeast.
