A steep little hill within the Carstramon Wood in S Central Dumfries and Galloway, the Doon of Castramont rises to 126m (413 feet) on the left bank of the Water of Fleet, a quarter-mile (0.5 km) south southeast of Carstramon and 2¼ miles (3.5 km) north of Gatehouse of Fleet.
