Darnagie Hill

An elongated hogback in The Machars of Galloway, Darnagie Hill rises to 109m (357 feet) 3¾ miles (6 km) southwest of Kirkcowan. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area and is aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of glacial flow. A patch of coniferous woodland separates this hillock from another drumlin, Barsoles, to the east.
