Loch Eye

A shallow loch in Easter Ross, Loch Eye is located a mile (1.5 km) north of Hill of Fearn and 3 miles (5 km) southeast of Tain. The loch extends to 158 ha (390 acres) and is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) because of its internationally-important waterfowl. It is also noted for its wild brown trout which provide excellent fishing.
