Firtree Hill

A summit in Annandale, E Dumfries and Galloway, Firtree Hill rises to 250m (820 feet) a half-mile (1 km) southeast of Hallhills Loch and 4½ miles (7 km) north northeast of Lockerbie. Its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar and it lies at the centre of a ridge, which includes Black Rig and Bow Hill to the southeast, and Shielstead Hill, Mid Hill and The Knowes to the northwest.
