Gaigrie Hill lies on the edge of plantation forest in S Dumfries and Galloway, a half-mile (0,8 km) west of Marnoch Hill and 2 miles (3 km) northwest of Palnackie. Erroneously recorded on Ordnance Survey Landranger maps (2015) as Galgrie Hill, it has two summits which rise to around 170m (557 feet) and around 155m (508 feet) respectively.
