A summit within the Glengap Forest in the Stewartry, Dumfries & Galloway, the Fore Hill of Glengap rises 307m (1007 feet) 3 miles (5 km) northeast of Gatehouse of Fleet, at the northeastern end of a ridge that reaches its highest point at Cairntosh Hill. The settlement of Glengap is located a quarter-mile (0.5 km) to the east.
