Loch Bad an Sgalaig

A reservoir in Wester Ross, Loch Bad an Sgalaig lies 5 miles (8 km) south of Poolewe. This natural loch grew in size when it was dammed in 1949 to power the Kerry Falls power station. It receives the Abhainn a' Gharbh Choire from the southeast and is the source of the River Kerry to the northwest. Loch Bad an Sgalaig is connected to Dubh Loch in the south.
