One of a group of small lochs in the Inverness district of Highland Council Area, Loch Kemp lies at an altitude of 175m (574 feet) above Loch Ness, on its steeply-sloping southern shore, 3 miles (5 km) east of Invermoriston. Otter (Lutra lutra) are known to frequent this area.
