One of several lesser summits which surround Great Hill in the Auchencairn Forest of NE Dumfries and Galloway, White Hill rises to 321m (1053 feet) 2¾ miles (4.5 km) east northeast of Closeburn. There is another White Hill located just 1½ miles (2.5 km) to the south.
