Craigfionn

A hill within the panhandle of East Ayrshire which descends into Dumfries and Galloway, Craigfionn rises to 366m (1200 feet) overlooking Loch Macaterick from the east and 7 miles (11 km) west of Carsphairn. The Eglin Lane flows past immediately to the east. This hill is composed of granite, part of the Loch Doon Igneous Complex.
