The highest of several hills within Dalmeny Park in the NW of the City of Edinburgh Council Area, Mons Hill rises to 119m (390 feet) a mile (1.4 km) west northwest of Dalmeny House and 1¼ miles (2 km) east northeast of Dalmeny Station. It is considerably cloaked by Leuchold Wood.
