The sharp summit of Am Bodach rises to a height of 943m (3093 feet) on the Aonach Eagach ridge in the SW of Highland Council Area with its south slopes leading down to the head of Glen Coe, 3 miles (5 km) south southwest of Kinlochleven and 4½ miles (7 km) east of Glencoe village.
