Aonach Dubh represents the westernmost peak of the Three Sisters range, rising to a height of 892m (2926 feet) to the south of Glen Coe, a half-mile (1 km) southeast of Loch Achtriochtan and a similar distance north northeast of the prominent summit of Stob Coire nan Lochan.
