Aonach Dubh a' Ghlinne comprises a series of summits arranged along a ridge which extends to the north of Stob an Fhuarain in the extreme SW of Highland Council area which rises to a height of 845m (2772 feet) 4 miles (6 km) southeast of Glencoe village and 6 miles (10 km) southwest of Kinlochleven.
