A loch and reservoir of the Trotternish peninsula of the island of Skye in Highland Council Area, Loch Leathan lies immediately to the north of Loch Fada and 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Portree. Runoff from Loch Leathan empties into Bearreraig Bay on the Sound of Raasay.
