Loch Benachally

A small reservoir in the Forest of Clunie of E Perth and Kinross, Loch Benachally lies at the head of the Lornty Burn which flows southeastwards to join the River Ericht just north of Blairgowrie. It is operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water and covers an area of 69 ha (170 acres). To the south Benachally Hill rises to 486m (1594 feet).
