Loch Coulter Reservoir

A reservoir of SE Stirling, the Loch Coulter Reservoir lies close to the boundary with Falkirk Council Area, 3 miles (5 km) northwest of Dunipace and 5 miles (8 km) south southwest of Stirling. It gives rise to the Loch Coulter Burn, which flows northeast towards Stirling. Impounded by an earth embankment dam, it is operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water and covers an area of 76.6 ha (189 acres).
