Ugie, River

The Ugie River is formed by the merging of the North and South Ugie Waters. This confluence occurs at a point 1¼ miles (2 km) northeast of the settlement of Longside in Aberdeenshire. Flowing north and then south and east, it empties into the North Sea at Buchanhead, to the north of Peterhead.
