A stream which rises in Loch Skene (Aberdeenshire), the Leuchar Burn first flows south but then turns southeast forming the boundary between Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City. The stream then turns south once again passing through Leuchar Den before becoming the Culter Burn which joins the River Dee at Peterculter.
