A remote peak in the moorland of the Dalnamein Forest of N Perth and Kinross, just a half-mile (1 km) from the border with the Highland, Meall Odhar Ailleag rises to 782m (2565 feet) at the head of Glen Bruar, 3 miles (5 km) northwest of Beinn Dearg and 5 miles (6 km) southeast of Loch an t-Seilich. It has a steep eastern face that leads down to Bruar Water.
