A summit in the SW Scottish Borders, Great Hill rises to 774m (2539 feet) close to the border with Dumfries and Galloway, 1¼ miles (2 km) northwest of White Coomb. The hill lies between Donald's Cleuch and Ether Cleuch. There is another more lofty Great Hill located 5½ miles (9 km) to the east northeast.
