Rising in the foothills of Corlach Hill on the Cowal peninsula of Argyll and Bute, the Ardyne burn flows northwest then southwest, passing to the east of the settlements of Blairbuie and Knockdow, before emptying into the Kyles of Bute less than a mile (1 km) to the east of Ardyne Point.
