Fleet, Water ofA river of Dumfries and Galloway, the Water of Fleet rises in Galloway Forest Park as the Big and Little Waters of Fleet. The two headstreams meet 6 miles (10 km) north of Gatehouse of Fleet from where the river flows southwards into Fleet Bay.
