Little Water of Fleet

A stream in Dumfries and Galloway, the Little Water of Fleet rises out of Loch Fleet in the Galloway Hills and flows southwards for 6 miles (10 km), joining the Big Water of Fleet 3 miles (5 km) northwest of Gatehouse of Fleet to form the Water of Fleet. A 9-arch viaduct which conveyed the former Portpatrick Railway across the river at Burnfoot has been demolished.
