A river principally of Dumfries and Galloway, the Cross Water of Luce forms the eastern headwater of the Water of Luce which flows southwards into Luce Bay. The Cross Water of Luce rises in South Ayrshire and flows southwards, joining the Main Water of Luce near New Luce to form the Water of Luce.
