Tuilyies Standing StonesTuilyies Standing Stones

A group of four standing stones dating from the 2nd millennium BC, located a half-mile (1 km) NE of Torryburn in West Fife. The most prominent lies closest to the A985 road, is 2.4m (8 feet) in height and show prominent vertical grooves as a result of weathering. It also features several cup-marks.
The other stones form the corners of a triangle to the south. Together the stones are thought to mark the graves of chieftains who died in an ancient battle.
