Laiaval


(Leathbhal)

A modest summit in the N of the island of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Laiaval (Gael: Leathbhal) rises to 69m (226 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) east of Trumisgarry. There is a grass-covered cairn on the summit and a well, known as Tobar Chaluim Chille, on its southwestern slopes.
