Allt an t-Sithein
(Allt an t-Sidhein)

A tributary of the River Shira in E Argyll & Bute, Allt an t-Sithein (probably erroneously recorded on the Ordnance Survey Landranger map as Allt an t-Sidhein) rises between Beinn an t-Sithein and Beinn Bhuidhe, 5 miles (8 km) south southeast of Dalmally. Extending to 2½ miles (4 km) in length, it falls into the Shira a half-mile (1 km) south of Lochan Sron Mor. Water is abstracted about half way along its course as part of the Glen Shira Hydro Electric Scheme.
