North Calder Water

A river largely in North Lanarkshire, the North Calder Water rises in the Black Loch 4 miles (6.5 km) west northwest of Armadale. It flows 16 miles (26 km) southwest through Hillend Reservoir, Caldercruix, Airdrie and Calderbank before joining the River Clyde near Broomhouse, a mile northwest of Uddingston. For its last 2 miles (3 km) it forms the boundary between North Lanarkshire and Glasgow City.
