Halladale River

A river in E Sutherland (Highland Council Area), the Halladale rises as headstreams which descend to the north of the Knockfin Heights, close to the border with Caithness, 4½ miles (7.25 km) southeast of Forsinard. It flows northwards through Strath Halladale before spilling into the Pentland Firth at Melvich Bay.
