Eathie Burn

A stream on the Black Isle in Highland Council Area, Eathie Burn rises on the border between Cromarty and Rosemarkie parishes. It flows down through deep rocky ravines to the Moray Firth. The Cromarty stonemason and writer Hugh Miller wrote about the fossils he discovered here in the red sandstone and shale beds.
